The best mattress I have ever slept on. Never in my seventy years have I slept better than on my Stearns and Foster firm pillow top mattress. It doesn't just support my body it cuddles it in a way that I wake up refreshed and without any muscle pain or soreness. It is by far the best bang for your buck. Sleeping on this mattress is a total life changer. I cannot recommend it enough.

Chose this mattress after trying it out in the showroom. When mine was delivered it was not the same comfort level as the one in the showroom. I have to keep it for 90 days before I can exchange it. I don't sleep wake up with neck and headaches EVERYDAY. The mattress in the showroom is 2years old and must be made different or needs that long to "wear in". I don't use the bed until I am dead tired. Might as well sleep on the floor. I can't sleep on my side at all.

Our first Stearns and Foster mattress lasted almost 20 years. OK, it probably needed replacing before we made the move.
We selected our new mattress after a bit of research, but we stuck with Stearns and Foster. Our new mattress is a wonderful replacement for our old mattress with the new Euro top over the firm mattress. It is so comfortable and great for my back and the rest of my body. It provides a wonderful night's sleep.
The white glove delivery was also wonderful!

Our new mattress is a pillowtop firm and has the desired support level I was looking for. Our only complaint would be that the mattress is so heavy, that tucking the sheets in is a bit of a chore. My wife has found that a wooden spatula is very useful to accomplish this.

Firm but still has some give and lots of comfy cushion. Edge is great to sit on and don't have to worry about it not bouncing back...it does every time! Delivery was a breeze and didn't even have a smell like had been in plastic ( have very sensitive nose). Best sleep in a while and all night long...no middle of night roaming to get kinks out of back before can lay down again. Haven't been tossing and turning as much thru night either.

I've gone back to the store and the model feels better than my 30 day old mattress. I'm incredibly frustrated. I'm in so much pain. The mattress gives out once someone has been laying on it for an hour or more. The support just gives way. Buy a less expensive mattress. Save your money. This one sucks.

We tried to break this in for a month and had the worse shoulder and back pain, we're both stomach sleepers, we thought we wanted firm but this firm was wayyyyy to much. We're going with a reserve pillows top firm in place

I looked at reviews for mattresses that would fit my sleeping habits and all of the "10 ten" mattresses were ones that you had to buy online. If I ordered one and loved it then no problem. If I hated it then the hassle of returning it would begin. As a result of this I looked around in the stores where I live. I had heard of Stearns & Foster but I figured that they were out of my budget league. I tried the Estate out at 3 different stores along with other brands and kept coming back to the Estate medium tight top. Once I made my selection everything flowed after that. Delivery, setup, and removal of old mattress. The guys were wonderful. As for the mattress…. I'll admit it was "strange" the first night since I had been sleeping in valleys in my old mattress. Once I got to sleep I didn't wake up all night! It was firm (medium) but very comfortable. The top mattress does weight significantly more than my old one so I will likely have to get help spinning it periodically. All in all…👍🏻

I owned a Sterns and Foster Silverdream for 20+ years and loved it. Wish I could buy that same bed. I stuck with Stwrns and Foster for the brand and quality I experienced with the Silverdream mattress. This mattress DOES NOT have the same quality. Spending over $3,000 for a King size mattress that after two years has 2inch sag which causes neck and back pain is unacceptable. Tried to file a warranty claim to be told it's the bed frame (Pottery Barn sleigh bed) and or the box springs (which are also sterns and fosters) and that is why the matter failed is unacceptable. Completely disappointed in Sterns and Foster for not taking appropriate action to replace the defective and damaged mattress after two years.

SF is a deceptive organization. They do not disclose their return policy costs $175 for return shipping at check out. You must check their policy on their website.
Also, NEVER buy a mattress from them outside of a holiday sale which is every few months for virtually every holiday. These scammers will refuse to do a price-match even a few weeks after your purchased.
They have a decent mattress, but they are an unethical company, so be careful.

My husband and I recently had a supposed " 10 year mattress" go bad in 3 years, so we decided to try this. So far, it's been amazing. The first several nights it felt too firm, but after about a week, it has become the most comfortable bed that I've ever slept on.
The mattress is very thick and heavy duty, which means that we have to get deeper sheets, and the corners that are beside the nightstands are difficult to lift when putting on the fitted sheet because the mattress is so heavy.
Overall, fantastic purchase and highly recommended.

Mattress feels high-quality, solid, well-constructed. Unfortunately, sleeping on it caused significant pains in back, shoulders, legs, hips, and calves. Finally were able to sleep comfortably after adding 4" of additional toppers, plus an additional 2"-4" of mattress pads. After researching Estate Collection, was surprised to learn "Medium" Estate is built *without* a top comfort layer, thus making the mattress feel harder than a "Firm" model - but explaining its surprisingly lower price than "Soft" and "Firm" models. Going forward, will treat this mattress as a "base layer," rather than the solution to our long-time problem of finding an expensive mattress that sleeps perfectly out of the box.

Great sleep so far, with deeper REM sleep noted. I can tell because I have normal temporary "sleep paralysis," which is most noticeable upon awakening from deep REM sleep in the morning. My arms feel quite numb for a minute or so when waking up. This is from the physiology of the REM sleep state of active brain, combined with "paralyzed" skeletal muscle. I've noticed it in the past, but is much more pronounced using this new firm Estate mattress. Good job, I just hope the springs stay strong over the coming years of use. Also, there is a nice bounce to the design along with good isolation from bed partner movement. Also, it sleeps cool enough on my platform frame; however I did design the slats with wide openings for maximum breathability. The small screen vents on the mattress sides are a nice detail.

Super heavy high quality mattress, but after two months , it had little give. If you need a super firm mattress for back sleeping, this is it. But, sleeping on my side but my pressure points (hips and shoulders) were very sore and often my arms fell asleep. We are on the small and medium size scale. We added a memory foam topper and a down topper..but decided this firm mattress wasn't a good fit. The mattress itself is very heavy, it took some effort to tuck in sheets and blankets. On the plus side, after two months there were no indents from sleeping.
I just exchanged for Estate Lux in the Medium pillowtop,an immediate difference in comfort and sleeping for me.
